The museum is huge. The collection of artifacts is huge! It's worth spending a day exploring. It is important to take a map of the museum with you because you may miss some rooms and exhibitions!

Beautiful garden and especially the Christmas market attraction nearby.

Easy access to the bus station, Train station and art museum.

Amazing gardens and very peaceful as you walk around the garden you forget you are in a city.

A wonderful castle and you get a great impression of the royal events in Edinburgh. It's a walk from the center and certainly easy to visit and impressive from the inside.

Very central street. I love walking through it. My favorite building is the Cathedral. Free admission.

Was open on New Year's Day and the kids really enjoyed it. Had 7 floors with a lot of optical-themed illusions and interactive exhibits (old stereoscopes, a mirror matrix, a really crazy rotating mirror tunnel, sound harp, etc).

Highly recommend.

Good for a visit decent amount of shop and wee stalls the staff were friendly and my wife and her assistance dog were left in peace to shop which doesn't happen in every shop we will be back next time we visit
